About

Hi, I’m Christina, a high school English teacher with 17 years of experience in the classroom. I’m passionate about helping students find their voice—on the page and in the classroom. I believe that great literature can empower, challenge, and connect us, and I love creating a space where students feel safe to speak up and dig deep.

I’m also a bit of a curriculum nerd and love designing lessons that are meaningful, engaging, and rooted in real-world thinking. Writing is at the heart of what I do, and I’m always looking for ways to support students as they grow into confident, capable writers and thinkers.

Outside the classroom, I’m a lifelong learner myself. I’ve spent summers with the National Writing Project, participated in two NEH summer programs, and recently wrapped up my second Master’s degree. I truly believe the best teachers are also students—and that staying curious helps me stay connected to the challenges my students face every day.
